3.5-Liter PowerBoost™ Full Hybrid V6
This engine gives you the best of both worlds because it runs on electricity and gasoline. An F-150 with this engine can produce up to 430 horsepower and around 570 pound-feet of torque. As for the electric side of this engine, it delivers ample power for towing. Its maximum payload clocks in at 2,120 pounds.
3.5-Liter EcoBoost® V6
The 3.5-liter V6 is a balanced engine. It can generate 400 horsepower and up to 500 pound-feet of torque. It offers a 10-speed automatic transmission and a 14,000-pound maximum towing capacity.
2.7-Liter EcoBoost® V6
This EcoBoost® engine is not the most powerful option in the truck's lineup, but it shines in other areas. For example, it has two injectors per cylinder and a pair of twin intercooled turbochargers. A new F-150 that has this engine can produce 325 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque.
5.0-Liter Ti-VCT V8
The 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8 is a legendary engine that represents what the F-150 is all about for many Springfield drivers. With a 3,310-pound maximum payload, it's one of the top engines for transporting gear around town. Plus, it offers 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque.
3.3-Liter Ti-VCT V6
This Ti-VCT engine has a few interesting highlights. For starters, it's very responsive on the road, and second, it utilizes Ford's patented port fuel and direct injection system, which has two injectors per cylinder. Regarding performance, this engine can generate up to 290 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque.
High-Output 3.5-Liter EcoBoost®
As an engine fine-tuned exclusively for the F-150 Raptor, the 3.5-liter EcoBoost® sets the bar for power. It can effortlessly produce up to 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
In this category, the most appealing feature is the Ford F-150's selectable drive mode system. This system instantly changes the F-150's traction and stability with the press of a button. There is a mode for normal terrain, an ECO mode, a Sport mode, a setting for towing and hauling, and options for slippery surfaces and rugged terrain.
While this system is useful, all versions of the F-150 have differing drive modes. The F-150 FX4 Raptor and Tremor are the only models that have unique drive modes.
Interior
The F-150's interior is grand, but if you want more convenience, you can expand your options with the power of Ford's patented Work Surface. By default, the surface is in a concealed location, so it never gets in the way. When the surface is out, the gear shift gets tucked away inside the center console.
Technology
There are eight versions of the Ford F-150, and they all have fantastic tech. The XL and the XLT both come equipped with an eight-inch capacitive touchscreen with SYNC® 4 tech. SYNC® 4 is also standard for the Lariat, but it's a better version that comes with enhanced voice recognition. High-end models like the King Ranch, Limited, and Platinum have first-class features. If you're looking for a top-tier sound system, go with the King Ranch, but if you need a mobile onboard generator, the Limited has you covered.
Safety
The Ford F-150 possesses many tactical safety features, like a pre-collision assist system, a lane-keeping system, and high-beam headlights. In addition to these features, Ford BlueCruise is available for select models. It's Ford's most advanced driving technology.
