Engine/Performance
The new Explorer is a beast on the highway thanks to its standard rear-wheel drive system. Want more traction for slippery roads or bumpy trails? Opt for available four-wheel drive. Enjoy hands-free driving via the Ford BlueCruise function. Under the hood, a 2.3-liter EcoBoost® I4 engine gets 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. The ST-Line and Platinum trims get a 3.0-liter EcoBoost® V6 with up to 400 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque.
Interior
The Explorer interior is masterfully crafted to highlight form and function. With three rows of seats and a spacious cabin, there is ample space for passengers and cargo alike. The ST-Line trim has ActiveX upholstery, while the Platinum's seats are wrapped in luxurious leather. The Platinum trim also offers all-weather seats and a Panoramic Vista Roof.
